New Testament Survey – 3 credits
This class, which surveys the entire New Testament and its historical backgrounds, will deepen your knowledge of the New Testament, will contribute to a biblical foundation for life and ministry, and will help you grow in your personal walk with God.  This class is required for all programs at Faith (1-year, 2-year, and 4-year), and it will also transfer to other Christian colleges.  Earn 3 college credits.
Dr. Keith Kobelia is a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in Ankeny, IA (B.A., 1995; M.A., 1996; M.Div., 1999), Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Plymouth, MN (Th.M., 2003), and Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, TX (Ph.D. in Bible Exposition, 2014). The focus of his dissertation research was the Thessalonian letters and biblical eschatology.
Biology and Sports Performance – 3 credits
Biology and Sports Performance will examine the basic tenets of most biology courses and look to make practical applications to improving one’s athletic performance. Discovering practical, science-based tips to improving one’s athletic abilities through nutritional applications will be one of the “biological, God-designed secrets of success.” This course will not only satisfy science or elective credits, it will provoke one’s thinking to improve our stewardship over our athletic responsibilities.
