Home / Admissions / Admissions Staff Mark Davis I head up the Admissions Department here at Faith. Since I love to meet people, and work one-on-one with high school and college students, it’s a perfect fit! After graduating from college and seminary here at Faith, I was given the opportunity to work full-time in the Admissions Department and I took it! My wife, Erin, and our four children love to interact with our students both here on campus and in our home as well. One of the favorite parts of my ministry here at Faith is the opportunity I have to meet teens as I speak at camps, churches, and schools and see God lead them to Faith where they grow, graduate, and then go impact the world for Christ. Mary Tubbs Holly Scheps Brenda Hendrickson I’m from Duluth, Minnesota, and as a teenager God gave me a burden to spend my life serving Him—however He would allow me to. It was that burden that brought me to Faith to study as a student, and it’s what has kept me here serving alongside our Admissions team organizing the itineraries and travel details for our Admissions representatives as well as our summer ministry teams. I absolutely love missions, traveling, and college students, and it is a highlight of my year to take a team of our students to South Africa for three weeks each summer and watch how God uses the overseas experience to mold and change their perspective on life and ministry—just as He continues to do for me. When I’m not sitting behind my desk or cuddling sweet orphans in South Africa, I love making meals with friends, doing just about anything outside, or traveling anywhere in the world. Patrick Ashcraft Jonathan Balasa Growing up in a thriving ministry in rural Utah, God planted the desire in my heart early on to serve Him in full-time ministry. After hearing about Faith Baptist Bible College from a local missionary, God lead me here in 2012 to deepen my love for His Word, people, and ministry through an undergrad degree. Now pursuing my Master of Divinity degree, I am thrilled to be a member of the Admissions team. I have daily opportunities to encourage other young people like myself to jump into the college and seminary experience, where they too can benefit from the academic excellence, discipleship, and ministry opportunities we have to offer. While I love music, Western culture, and horseback riding, nothing is more important to me than young men and women learning early to give their heart to God. “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth” (Eccles. 12:1). Rose Drinkwater Hello! My name is Rose, and I’m from the state of Maine. I love the ocean, and I enjoy organizing things and spending time with friends. After I graduated from high school in 2013, I spent one year at a little Bible Institute in Canada, but I felt that God was leading me elsewhere to continue my education. He used people and circumstances to show me that Faith was for me, and I transferred to Faith in 2014 to pursue a degree in Elementary Education as well as take classes in Biblical Counseling. I joined the Admissions staff as a student representative in the fall of 2015. I love Faith, and I am so thankful that God brought me here. I want others to be blessed by this school the way that I have been blessed, and I desire for God to use me to encourage others to come to Faith and grow to be more like Christ while training to serve Him. Grace Gimben Hello! I’m Grace Gimben from Derby, Kansas. Here at Faith I enjoy singing in the Chorale, playing volleyball, taking voice lessons, ministering as a youth sponsor in my local church, and serving as a Room Leader in the women’s dorm. Currently I am a junior in the Office Administration program. Amazingly, God allowed me to serve as a summer secretary at the Iowa Regular Baptist Camp and provided an internship the school year as an Admissions Assistant for Faith. This is perfect training for the major I have chosen! As a part of the Admissions team, I have the incredible opportunity to work with students. Contacting individual students and later seeing them visit events or attend classes with me is exciting as it gives me another opportunity to invest in a life for eternity. I absolutely love the opportunities and people at Faith that God has used to stretch and train me to be more effective for Him! Annie Gustafson I am from a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I was home-schooled all the way through high school and began my freshman year at Faith in the fall of 2015. I am currently in the Elementary Education program in order to pursue my dream of becoming an elementary teacher. Children never cease to make me smile, and teaching has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Working in Admissions is so neat because I get to see a little bit of the “behind the scenes” here at Faith. I am excited to see how God is going to use the people on the Admissions team as well as the students here for His glory over the coming years. Madeline Kunz Hello. My name is Madeline Kunz from Ladora, Iowa. I graduated from high school in 2016. I was the only student in my class to attend a Bible college, but I really felt like God was calling me to Faith. I am in the Missionary Nursing program, and Lord willing, I hope to go all over the world on medical missions. I love working in Admissions because I can get in contact with people all over the world and encourage them to come to Faith. The atmosphere is great and I love the people I work with. I am so excited to see how God will use this year to mold me and help me grow closer to him. Daniel McCoy I was born and raised in the wonderful state of Utah where my family has been serving the Lord for a number of years. I trusted Jesus as my Savior at a young age. Growing up quite involved in ministry at my local church, the Lord began to produce within me a passion for proclaiming Christ to the lost and discipling those who already know Him. Prior to my teen years, I began to sense God’s call for me to be in full-time ministry. I believe God’s will for my life is to become a missionary pastor of some sort, whether in the states or abroad. That is how the Lord brought me to Faith. Currently, I am a junior in the Pastoral program at Faith with a double minor in Greek and Biblical Counseling. In this process of training for ministry, I am now privileged to be a part of the Faith Admissions Team as a student representative. Emily Warix My name is Emily Warix, and I am currently a freshman in the two-year Office Administration program. I grew up in Utah and Illinois before God led me to Faith in the fall of 2016. I already love Faith, and I am so glad God put me here! The atmosphere and the people are so spiritually impacting. I also am grateful for the job God provided for me in the Admissions Department as a student representative. It’s so exciting to have this opportunity to talk to potential students and let them know about what God is doing here!
