Dr. Keith Kobelia

Chair, Biblical Studies Program

Hello! I am Dr. Keith Kobelia. I am a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in Ankeny, IA (B.A., 1995; M.A., 1996; M.Div., 1999), Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Plymouth, MN (Th.M., 2003), and Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, TX (Ph.D. in Bible Exposition, 2014). The focus of my dissertation research was the Thessalonian letters and biblical eschatology, and these subjects continue to be of interest to me. I have served as Associate Professor of Bible and Theology at Faith Baptist Bible College, and as an adjunct in the seminary, since 2014, teaching Bible survey classes, Bible elective classes, and some history classes. My family and I reside in Ankeny, Iowa. My wife and I have six wonderful children: Luke, Christina, Timothy, Bethany, Karis, and Benjamin. We enjoy serving the Lord as part of the ministry of Faith Baptist Church in Cambridge, Iowa.
