Refresh Conference 2020
January 28-31, 2020

“Navigating the Personal Challenges of Ministry”

A Conference for Christian Leaders and Spouses

Life in ministry is filled with joyous peaks, but it can also have its exhausting valleys. Refresh Conference is designed specifically to encourage ministry leaders who are currently serving in the trenches. The schedule is specially designed to allow busy Christian leaders to rest and spend time alone with their spouses. The general sessions and workshops offer you and your spouse a chance to soak in God’s Word while being taught from experienced ministry leaders. The hospitality room not only provides you with a variety of complimentary snacks and drinks, but also the perfect location to fellowship with others who can relate to the joys and struggles in ministry. We hope you will join us for this spiritually encouraging conference, and we trust that God will use it to refresh you in your ministry.  Registration opens October 1!

(For international travelers, if an invitation letter is needed for visa purposes, it will be sent upon request after we receive your registration and payment)

Prior to being elected BJU president, he served for 29 years as the president of the Steve Pettit Evangelistic Association. In this ministry, Pettit emphasized revival and evangelism as he conducted over 800 campaigns throughout the United States and preached in over 21 countries. Additionally, Pettit served for nearly three years as national director for Cross Impact Ministries, a ministry which partners with local churches to minister on college campuses across the nation. Jim and his wife, Joan, have three children: Anne, who resides in Canada; Tim, a Faith graduate, married to Kellie; and Beth, who is a current student at Faith.

Featured Musician: Kevin Inafuku

Kevin and Misty spent the last 15 years on the island of Guam. Kevin started as Minister of Music at Harvest Ministries and then in 2010 he and Misty were married. Shortly after that, Kevin was ordained and became Pastor of Worship and Discipleship at Harvest Baptist Church. Together, Kevin and Misty enjoy meeting people and spending time in the Word discipling them to know and love Jesus with all of their hearts and lives. The Inafukus have four children: Mylia, Aryia, Misaki, and Azaia. Prior to Guam, Kevin travelled with the Steve Pettit Evangelistic Team overseeing the Music Program and the Children’s Ministry.  The Inafuku family has a burden to one day return to Hawaii where Kevin was born and raised to plant Gospel preaching, grace-saturated churches. God has led them to SLC in 2017 to learn team church planting while being a part of a strategic revitalization in Riverton, UT. It has been a joy to serve on a team with Danny & Kristen Brooks, Matt & Colleen Parker, and Daniel & Kellie Kaminski leading Gospel Hope Church in Riverton, UT.  God continues to draw people to Himself through the proclaiming and living of the Gospel in a place where less than 3% of the people have trusted in Christ.  What a privilege it is to be in the Valley and to be able to share with people the awesome hope that is only found in Jesus.

This conference is for all Christian leaders and their spouses. Bring your entire ministry team! Camp directors, school administrators, and missionaries will all benefit from this conference!
