Student Life Staff

Lance Augsburger: Dean of Students
I joined the Student Life staff in 2008 as the Dean of Men and have been serving as the Dean of Students since 2013. I earned the B.A. and M.Div. degrees from Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary. I am passionate about sharing God’s Word with others, love to disciple the young men on campus, and thoroughly enjoy working alongside my wife Carrie, who is the Dean of Women. I also serve as the assistant men’s soccer coach. I consider it a great privilege (and a lot of fun) to point students toward the Lord Jesus Christ. There’s nothing more exciting than watching God, through His Word, change a person’s life, and I get to watch that happen on a daily basis. That’s one of the things that makes working with college students here at Faith so exciting—they are energetic, impressionable, and ready for God to work.

Carrie Augsburger: Dean of Women
I first joined the Student Life Department in 2011 as the Assistant Dean of Women and have been serving as the Dean of Women since 2013. I graduated from the college and the seminary with both my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. During my time as a student, God began to grow in me a great love for His Word and passion to share it with other women. God used that love to keep me at Faith where I’m able to daily share truth from God’s Word with our students. I enjoy serving alongside my husband Lance, and seeing God at work in the lives of our students. Our desire in Student Life is to provide the opportunity for all of our students to be discipled—to increase in their knowledge and love for God and others. Our heart is to help them grow in knowing, loving, and applying God’s Word so they can take it to a world in desperate need.

Rachel Palma: Student Life Administrative Assistant
I joined the Student Life staff in 2014 as the Administrative Assistant. I earned the B.S. degree from Faith Baptist Bible College. I love working with the student body and desire to help them in their transition to college life. It is truly a blessing to minister to our students on a daily basis, and I love seeing how the Lord works in their lives to conform them more into the image of His Son. Our students are also a great encouragement to me—they love the Lord and desire to serve Him on campus, in our community, and around the world. We really have the best students!
