Pastoral Training

Faith’s Pastoral Training major prepares men to serve God in the high calling of a pastor. You will be taught sound theology to help support your future ministry wherever God may lead you. Not only will you be trained in your theological knowledge, but you will also be given practical ministry experience. Our pastoral faculty enjoy discipling and working with their students on a personal level, which means you get many opportunities to connect with experienced pastors.

To complement your pastoral training, you can choose from several emphases: Biblical Counseling, Greek, or both. Your internship in a local church will help solidify your training in a practical setting.

Jonathon Fuller (’13), Lead Pastor
I loved my time spent at Faith Baptist Bible College! I consider those years to be some of the most important years of my life for a number of reasons. The faculty helped me to gain a better grasp on God’s Word, and how it applies to my life and ministry. As I seek to faithfully shepherd the church God has lead me to, this training has proved to be invaluable time and time again. The friendships I formed while at Faith are some of my closest friends today. Every time I am able to reconnect with these friends, my heart is refreshed! The professors that I learned from during those years have also become friends and mentors for me today. I am thankful for all of their hard work and time spent investing in me. Faith Baptist Bible College truly is a school that will train you to take the Word to the world.

Aaron Moore (’15), Senior Pastor
Faith: where help and home meet. As a student and now as an alumnus, I found the faculty and staff of FBBC to have the friendliness and approachability of a family while also possessing the wisdom and intellect necessary to help with the difficult questions of life and ministry. If I have a ministry question, I regularly contact professors from Faith for wisdom and direction. FBBC provides you with a tailwind as you go into and through life and ministry.
