Home / Academics /Programs of Study /Undergraduate / Music Education The Music Education program trains you to teach music with a high standard of excellence in schools. This program is designed for teachers in grades K–8, 5– 12, or both. Not only is this program ideal for the classroom, but it also prepares you for additional music ministry opportunities in church settings. A degree in Music Education equips you to teach both vocal and instrumental music. You will also learn a Biblical philosophy of music and how that relates to training children in the classroom. Because of our state approval, you also have the option of teaching in the public school system or wherever God may lead you. Music Education students at Faith can also earn several endorsements. • K-8 • 5-12 • K-8 and 5-12 For more information, contact Dr. George Dougherty IV, director of the Music Education program.
