Biblical Studies (Two and Four Year)

A degree in Biblical Studies prepares you to serve in a local church in a variety of ministries. This major has two basic components—a Biblical Studies core of Bible and theology and a ministry minor. This means you receive training in solid doctrine and Biblical exposition as well as in practical church ministry.

The Biblical Studies program gives you a wide variety of flexibility with choosing a minor like our Missionary Nursing, ¡Aribba!, Communications, or Biblical Counseling programs. You can fit many electives into this program as well to give you a well-rounded education.

Students taking the two-year Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies degree focus on Bible survey courses to give them an overview of the entire Bible. This program emphasizes Biblical interpretation and analysis of key books (Genesis, Matthew, Romans, and Acts). You may choose the Additional Bible or the Biblical Worldview option.

Nichole Carr (’13), Medical Outreach/Church Planting Assistant
My classes at Faith were amazing! They were not only informative, but also relevant. I loved learning about the history of missions and how different missionaries work in various ways around the world. Through FBBC, I was able to take three international missions trips. In 2013 I traveled to Romania. This internship helped confirm God’s call in my life, and I am now serving in Romania as a church planting assistant with a medical outreach ministry.
