Full-Time Elementary Education Instructor for the Christian School Department

FBBC&TS is seeking to employ a qualified individual for a full-time Elementary Education position to teach in the Christian School Department at Faith Baptist Bible College beginning in the Fall of 2019. This opening will be posted until February 1, 2019.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned classes in accordance with our policies in the Faculty Handbook
  • Oversee the Elementary Education Program of the Christian School Department
  • Serve on academic committees
  • Advise Christian School majors
  • Disciple students as opportunities arise
  • Recruit students to the Christian School program  
  • Teaching other classes based on the applicant’s expertise and qualifications
  • Assist with the supervision and assessment of clinical experiences and student teachers

FBBC&TS seeks to maintain its theological and ecclesiastical identity as a fundamental Baptist institution of higher education. Therefore, we seek only to employ faculty whose beliefs, lifestyle, and convictions align with FBBC&TS’s religious positions. As such, all applicants must meet the following expectations:

  • Applicants must agree without mental reservation with FBBC&TS’s foundational documents.
  • Applicants must be fundamental Baptists in their beliefs and practice.
  • Applicants must adhere to Biblical standards of morality and living.
  • Applicants and/or their spouses must not be or ever have been divorced.

Academic Qualifications

  • Applicants should possess at least an accredited Master’s Degree or (preferably) a Doctorate.
  • Applicants should have experience teaching elementary students in the Christian School setting. 
  • Applicants preferably should have skill and experience teaching at the college level classes for elementary education majors.
  • Applicants should demonstrate good collegiality toward coworkers.
