FBBC&TS is seeking to employ a qualified individual for a full-time staff position as Assistant Athletic Director/Coach.  This position will report to the Athletic Director and Faith President.  This posting will remain open until June 30, 2018.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Assistant Athletic Director is responsible for assisting the Athletic Director in a variety of areas. Included in these areas of oversight are: coaching one or more athletic teams, management of gym crew staff, event management, athletic recruitment, sponsorship sales, fundraising, and clerical work, as well as other areas of responsibility as the Athletic Director sees fit.


  1. Assisting the Athletic Director
  2. Supervision of athletics staff
  3. Game management
  4. Recruitment
  5. Practice Planning
  6. Travel / administration of road trips
  7. Clerical work


This position will have up to 20 direct reports and up to 15 indirect reports.


To work with young athletes and to set an example in participating and coordinating sporting events.

Academic Qualifications and Experience

  1. A minimum of a four-year college degree
  2. A minimum of six plus years’ experience with sports is preferred
  3. A minimum of two years coaching experience is preferred
  4. A minimum of two plus years in youth ministry or related ministry is preferred
