Alumni Coordinator

FBBC&TS is seeking to employ a qualified individual to serve as a full-time Alumni Coordinator.

APPLICATION PROCESS

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize and execute alumni events (i.e. Homecoming Weekend, Conference Receptions)
  • Supervise alumni communications and publications (i.e. biannual SOAR magazine, monthly alumni email, alumni Facebook page)
  • Coordinate alumni awards and award services (i.e. Faithful Servant Awards, Alumnus of the Year Award)
  • Promote alumni perks (i.e. Benefits Card program, birthday drawings)
  • Manage alumni data
  • Oversee alumni projects
  • Welcome new graduates into the Alumni Association
  • Brainstorm and order Alumni Association paraphernalia
  • Assist Admissions Department with on-campus events
  • Seasonally assist the Financial Aid Department

QUALIFICATIONS

Convictions and Character/Religious Qualifications
FBBC&TS seeks to maintain its theological and ecclesiastical identity as a fundamental Baptist institution of higher education. Therefore, we seek only to employ staff whose beliefs, lifestyle, and convictions align with FBBC&TS’s religious positions. As such, all applicants must meet the following expectations:

  • Applicants must agree without mental reservation with FBBC&TS’s foundational documents.
  • Applicants must be fundamental Baptists in their beliefs and practice.
  • Applicants must adhere to biblical standards of morality and living.
  • Applicants and/or their spouses must not be or ever have been divorced.

Education and Experience

  • A 4-year college degree is desired, preferably in some category of communications or office administration.
  • Computer proficiencies are needed. Applicants should be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous experience in office administration, public speaking, or event planning is desired but not necessary.
  • Photography skills would also be a great asset to the department but is not required.
