Monty Kaufman Announced as Youth Ministry Instructor and Head Women’s Basketball Coach

ANKENY, Iowa—Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary is pleased to announce Pastor Monty Kaufman as full-time Youth Ministry Instructor and Head Women’s Basketball Coach. His wife, Linda, will serve as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.

Pastor Kaufman and his wife will be moving to Ankeny from Wilmington, North Carolina. They have most recently served at Grace Baptist Church in Wilmington since 2011. He transitioned from Children’s Pastor to Youth Pastor in 2015, and to a college ministry role in 2017. A campus pastoral title was added to his responsibilities in 2018 for Wilmington Christian Academy.

Prior to their ministry in Wilmington, Pastor Kaufman served as Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor at Independent Baptist Church in Bolingbrook, Illinois, and in the same positions at Falls Road Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He also served as Director of Student Services at Northland Baptist Bible College and as Program Coordinator for the Northland Camp and Conference Center.

Pastor Kaufman was born in Newton, Kansas, and graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College. He and Linda met at Northland and have been married for 28 years and have two children. Pastor Kaufman is currently working on his Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Liberty University. His life verse is, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?’ Then I said, ‘Here am I! Send me.’” —Isaiah 6:8
