Summer Sports Camp: An opportunity to improve, both athletically and spiritually

Champions are made in the off-season.  Many student-athletes use the summer months as an excuse to get away from all things work-related.  Three months of no homework, no class, and no routine can be a welcome thought at the end of a long school year.  And it can be an easy time to get out of shape—both physically and spiritually.

Faith’s Summer Sports Camp, June 13-16, is the perfect opportunity to keep yourself in tip-top condition, to learn new skills from college coaches, to be challenged spiritually, and to compete individually and as a team.  Oh, and there will be plenty of fun too while you experience life on a college campus while living in dorms and participating in exciting activities throughout the event.

Athletes will have the opportunity to learn and hone skills in volleyball, basketball, and soccer from collegiate coaches at Faith during the four-day event.  There will be team scrimmages and a strong spiritual emphasis throughout the camp with special speakers during the week.

“It’s really an amazing value,” says Faith Athletic Director, Brian Fincham.  “Especially for dual-sport athletes. It’s designed to give you skills in each of those areas of competition, all in one setting.”

The Summer Sports Camp is available to all senior high athletes and coaches.  Early registration cutoff is June 1.  The cost for the event is $85 for individual athletes and drops to $75 if at least six athletes from the same team sign up.  The price for coaches is $45 if registered by June 1, and that price drops to $25 if a coach brings at least six athletes from his or her team.
