Mission Statement

The John L. Patten Library provides professors and students of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary with the information resources necessary for teaching and research.

History

Our Library is named in honor of our former president, John L. Patten, who was President of our institution from 1947-1965. For ten years after his resignation, Dr. Patten served as a member of the faculty.

A Note from Our Head Librarian

The John L. Patten Library provides professors and students of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary with the information resources necessary for teaching and research. In order to accomplish this goal, the library staff selects, maintains, and accesses print, audio, video, electronic, and other information materials inside the library. The library staff enables professors and students to locate these information materials on their own and is prepared to assist as needed. The library staff also accesses information resources from outside the library through its interlibrary loan services and through its catalog of online resources. If you have any information needs or questions about the library, please ask one of our staff members for assistance. We are here to serve you.
