Visit Israel with a Faith Perspective
Faith is offering a special opportunity for you to travel to Israel and Jordan with Dr. Jim Tillotson as your host and Dr. Ernie Schmidt as your Bible teacher.
Dr. Schmidt has said that "the heart of an Israel tour is to observe the topography, geography, and culture which provide unparalleled insight into the Bible. When we are there, we do not use PowerPoint slides; we simply point and say, 'That is where it took place.' Such 'hands- and eyes-on' experience takes your knowledge of the Bible to a whole new level in just a few days. Every day seems like a Sunday worship service as we go from site to site and learn new truths about the Bible." (Click here for Dr. Schmidt's full Faith Pulpit article about a trip to Israel.)
You will start your trip in Jordan visiting Mount Nebo and Petra. Then you will spend five days in Israel touring all the major sites. You will even get to cross the Sea of Galilee on a boat! The trip will truly be an experience of a lifetime.
Dr. Jim Tillotson is the president of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary and has led two previous trips to Israel.
Dr. Ernie Schmidt is a former faculty member, seminary dean, and interim president at Faith. He is a veteran tour guide who has made 13 trips to Israel.
