Secondary World History Education

Christian schools today need teachers who can teach world history on the secondary level from a solidly Biblical perspective. Faith is pleased to announce the addition of the new Secondary World History Education degree to meet this need.

This four-year degree gives students a thorough Bible education (one of Faith's hallmarks) and quality training in education and world history. The advantage of taking this degree at Faith is that it helps students approach history from a Biblical perspective.

This new program will include such courses as
• Western Civilization I and II
• American History
• World Geography
• Modern World History
• Ancient Near Eastern History
• Latin American History
• Cultural Anthropology
• Teaching Secondary World History

Current Faith students who are freshmen or sophomores may enter the program this year and not be behind in any of their courses.

Because Faith is approved by the Iowa Department of Education for licensure, graduates of this new program will have the highest possible credentials for teaching world history.
