Core Courses at Faith
All students in a four-year program take the following core courses and add courses from their major field to complete their program. (Students in the two-year programs take select courses from this list.)
Bible and Theology (42-46 credit hours)
These courses enable students to know what the Bible teaches so they can grow in their spiritual life and effectively communicate the Bible to others.

Through these courses you learn about the people and philosophies of the world around you so you can minister to them.

Since missions and evangelism are at the heart of Faith, each student takes two foundational missions courses.

In addition to these required core courses, students in four-year programs also have an internship to give them practical experience in their ministry field.
College Prep Options
Faith offers several college prep courses for high schoolers to enable them to earn college credit.
The AP program allows a student to take an exam at the conclusion of some high school classes that may be accepted for credit for some courses at Faith.

Up to 24 total credit hours may be accepted from CLEP and AP programs of study.
Jump start your college education by taking a course for credit at Faith.
Faith's PSEO program allows qualified students to take classes at Faith for college credit while in high school.
• Students must be juniors or senior enrolled in public or private Iowa schools. Homeschooled students are eligible to enroll if they are dual enrolled.
• Students must have a minimum composite ACT score of 20 and a minimum GPA of 3.3.
• Students may take up to two courses each semester, and courses are limited to first or second year classes.
• In order to be considered for acceptance, all application materials must be received by August 1 for fall semester enrollment and December 1 for spring semester enrollment.
To apply for PSEO courses at Faith
1. Contact Faith for a PSEO application.
2. Secure two reference forms (a pastor/Christian worker and an educator), and provide a copy of ACT scores and a high school trasn
3. Give the completed PSEO form to your high school for approval.
