The Student Life staff is here to help students take the next step spiritually. Our desire is to see them grow to become more like Christ as a result of their time here at Faith. Many elements of life here at Faith help nurture this spiritual growth.
Chapel Students meet every morning for chapel. It is a great break between classes, and a time to sit under the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. Our student body chaplain brings in a variety of pastors, missionaries, staff, and faculty who challenge our students from the Word. Some of our specialized chapels include those led by students, time devoted to prayer, instruction in practical life skills, and meetings with the deans in a group setting. Check out some of our past chapel messages here.
Dorm Devotions Students living on campus meet once a week for dorm devotions. This is a time where the resident advisors share from God’s Word and seek to encourage the students on his/her floor. Students also meet once a week for suite devos. Each suite of 4–8 students has one room leader who is responsible to encourage and hold accountable the men or women in the suite. This a great time for prayer, accountability, and sharing how God is working in the lives of our students. Students will form lifelong friendships as they learn from God’s Word together in these settings.
Discipleship and Counseling The Student Life Department is available for weekly Bible studies, counseling, and encouragement. We love to meet with individual students over coffee, in our offices, or in our homes to help them grow spiritually. We want to help students apply God’s Word to the stuff of life and will meet students wherever and whenever to help make that happen.
Local Churches: A huge part of Faith is the involvement students will have in their local churches. There are more 25 like-minded churches within a 30-mile radius of Faith that students may choose to attend. Students will have the opportunity to get plugged in and learn what practical ministry looks like within the local church. Students will also get to know godly men, women, and families who will have a great impact in their lives as they study here at Faith.

Whether it's a game of pool between classes, an afternoon ping-pong match, a Wii tournament, an evening coffee with a friend, or a night-time group study session, the Eagles' Nest, our student center, is a favorite among our students.
Open daily from 6:00 a.m. to curfew, the student center is a great place to hang out or study. It is equipped with wireless internet, so it's easy to bring your laptop and get some quality study time in.
Twigs Coffee Shop, located in the Eagles' Nest (get it? Twigs in the Eagles' Nest), is a student favorite. Operated by our dining services, the coffee shop offers gourmet coffee, espresso, and other specialty drinks. Not a coffee fan? It also serves smoothies, shakes, pop, juice, Sobe, and other drinks. Not thirsty? Twigs Coffee Shop is a great place to stop for a snack, too. They serve freshly baked goods like muffins, turnovers, doughnuts, and cinnamon rolls, as well as a variety of snacks and candies. You can use your dining card to purchase anything in Twigs.
Music Opportunities at Faith
Many of our students are interested in music and look for opportunities to use music to serve and worship the Lord! Faith offers you several music possibilities.
If you enjoy singing, try out for the chorale. The Chorale sings in churches on weekends and has three major concerts each year:The Festival of Carols in December, the Spring Concert at the conclusion of their spring tour, and the Commencement Concert during Commencement week. During our spring break the Chorale spends almost a week and a half on the road ministering in churches and Christians schools.
If you play a musical instrument, you may want to audition for the Faith Orchestra. Like the Chorale, the Faith Orchestra ministers in churches on weekends and participates in the three major concerts during the year. You will enjoy the opportunities to meet people and to minister to them through music.
The Faith Handbell Choir is a group of 10-12 students who are committed to serving the Lord through this specialized music ministry. The Handbell Choir adds a unique and beautiful dimension to the overall musical ministry at Faith.
Students find many opportunities in daily chapels to serve the Lord through music. Our students accompany chapel singingand provide special music. Many participate in our chapel orchestra that accompanies the singing.
So if you are interested in music at Faith, you'll have plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Food at Faith
What’s more important to a college student than food? (Well, a few things are but food is really important!)
Faith Dining Services provides the food for our on-campus students and guests. Regular meals are served in Benson Hall. We serve three meals each weekday and two meals on Saturday and Sunday.
Monday through Friday
While most students love the all-you-can-eat buffet style meals, sometimes it isn’t the best fit for everyone’s schedule. Twigs Coffee Shop and our Grab & Go option are available in the Student Center for those who require an off-hour snack or meal replacement due to work or other activities.
Twigs will be open Monday through Friday during posted hours. Twigs serves a variety of coffee-related beverages and Grab & Go offers a selection of prepackaged items.
For specific details concerning meal plans available, check the Dining Services web page.
Food at Faith, just another one of the great experiences you will enjoy as a student!
