Visit Us

Girlgroup

You wouldn't buy a car without taking it for a test drive, would you? Then why decide where you are going to spend the next four years of your life without visiting first? It's one thing to read about a college, but experiencing it first hand is a must!

While some schools charge you to stay in the dorms and eat their food, we don't. At Faith, we treat you like valued guests. From the moment you arrive to the time you leave, we want you to know just how important you are to us.

Due to the fact that we have so many visitors on campus throughout the year, we ask that you schedule your visit at least two weeks in advance. For a personal visit of 1 or 2 students, please e-mail Admissions with the following information:

• Phone number
• Arrival time
• Departure time
• Number and names of teens and adults
• List of any staff/departments you would like to meet

If you are a group of more than 2 students, please download and fill out the Group Reservation Form and return it to the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. at least two weeks before visiting.

Day Visit
If you would like to visit during the day, we recommend you arrive at 8:45 a.m. so you can be here for our daily chapel at 9 a.m. When you arrive, please come to Jordan Hall and let the receptionist know you are here for a campus visit. One of our Admissions staff will come and meet you.

Overnight Visit
Prospective students, 9th grade and above, are welcome to stay in the dorms. Overnight stays are for weeknights only (Monday–Thursday). Don’t forget to bring bedding, a towel, and toiletries! If you plan to arrive after 9 p.m., please contact Campus Security at 515.210.6563.

Group Visits
If you plan to come with a group, please complete the Group Reservation Form and return it to the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. at least two weeks before visiting. You can either email your group form or fax it to 515.964.1638.

Holidays and School Vacations
We are unable to schedule campus visits on holidays because our offices are normally closed. Our students are given a month for Christmas break and a week for spring break. Since most of our students are gone during those weeks, we are not able to accommodate overnight dorm stays.

If you would like to visit during the summer, we are sorry that we are unable to provide housing as our dorms are frequently rented out for conferences. If summer is the only time you can visit, please come! If possible, plan your visit between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Cost
Prospective students to stay in the dorms at no cost if you will be visiting classes during the next morning! You will also be given meal tickets for your stay (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). We have limited campus housing available for parents/sponsors for $40 a night. Please make sure to request this early as it fills up quickly! If you would prefer to stay in a local hotel, our recommended hotel is the Fairfield Inn & Suites. Be sure to tell them you are visiting Faith to get a reduced rate.

Dress
We do not require visitors to wear our student dress code, but we do encourage it!

Men: Slacks or khakis and collared shirt during classroom hours. After 1:30 p.m. you may wear nice-looking, clean, loose-fitting slacks, jeans, athletic pants, or cargo/carpenter pants or modest shorts.

Women: Dress or skirt and dressy top (no T-shirts). Dress and skirt length must reach the bottom of the knee. After 1:30 .pm. you may wear nice-looking, clean, loose-fitting slacks, jeans, athletic pants, or cargo/carpenter/capri pants. During December, January, and February, you may wear dress pants.
