Dr. John Hartog II is a longtime and valued member of the college and seminary faculty. He has taught in the college for more than 30 years specializing in Old Testament and New Testament survey courses. Thousands of students over the years have received a strong foundation for Bible study and ministry from Dr. Hartog's survey classes. Dr. Hartog also serves in the seminary as the director of the Master of Arts in Religion program. In addition to his teaching, he is also involved in church ministry. Several years ago he planted a church in Grimes that is today a thriving, growing church. Dr. Hartog and his wife, Martha, are active members of Faith Baptist Church in Cambridge.
