Jumpstart

Get a Jump Start on your college education by taking a class for college credit at Faith this summer.

Jump Start is designed for high schoolers graduating in 2013 and 2014. Earn college credit at Faith, learn under a college professor, and experience college life at Faith.

Schedule
   8:00-12:15 Class
   12:30-1:30 Lunch
   1:30-4:30 Study and Service
   4:30-5:30 Dinner
   6:30-8:30 Special Activities

Arrival
Check in Sunday night at 7 p.m., get settled in the dorms, and catch some sleep before class in the morning.

Departure
The week ends with lunch on Friday after your final morning of class.

Classes
  • Personal Evangelism (two credit hours)
    Practical instruction and practice in personal evangelism
    Instructor: Mr. Chuck De Cleene, professor of Bible and missions at Faith and active in personal 
                     and local church evangelism.

   • Introduction to Philosophy (two credit hours)
     Practical introduction to developing a Biblical worldview
     Instructor: Dr. Paul Hartog, professor of Bible and theology at Faith and an experienced teacher
                      in a Christian approach to philosophy
 
Cost
   • $325 which includes:
       • Tuition for two hours of college credit (65% discount off what a college student normally pays)
       • All meals
       • Dormitory lodging (supervised by adults)
   • Plus about $25 - $105 for books
     Payment is due on the first day of class.
