Alumni Projects

nightvballThe 2015 Alumni Project has come to a close. Thank you to those who contributed to the sand volleyball court lighting project! The lights are fully functioning and we were happy to use them during our recent Spring Spirit Week here on campus.

Faith desires to dedicate the sand volleyball court to Dr. Bryce B. Augsburger as a memorial to his faithful life. Dr. Augsburger served the Lord as a missionary to Cuba; pastor of Calvary Community Baptist Church in Northglenn, Colorado; and president of Denver Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary with which Faith merged in 1986. “Dr. A,” as he was affectionately called, had a personal passion for sports and made it a point to encourage the athletes of DBBC.

BryceAugsburgerFaith hopes that this tangible memorial reminds the Denver grads of their alma mater and of this man of God who was a staunch defender of the faith. The volleyball court dedication will take place during Homecoming weekend events, September 15–17.
