Alumni Projects

Several years ago the Faith alumni association initiated a project to raise $100,000 to fund the Generations Scholarship. The goal was to award $1000 each year for four years to two second- or third-generation Faith students.

You have contributed more than $97,000 so far! We have enough money to award one student the Generations Scholarship, but we want to go over the top of the goal so we can award this scholarship to two deserving students.

We have less than $3000 to go! Would you consider a gift to this project today so we can finish it?

vballcourtThe 2014 senior class gave money to Faith to put in sand volleyball courts at Crown Park. Many students have enjoyed a quick game of volleyball through this school year as a welcome break from their studies.

But students can only play volleyball during the day. Our 2015 alumni project is to raise funds to install lighting at the volleyball courts. The cost for lights and a small shed for equipment will be $15,000.

Here is a possible way to think about giving to this project: Give $1 for every year you have been a Faith alum. If you graduated 5 years ago, give at least $5. If you graduated 30 years ago, give at least $30. (And if your spouse is an alum, consider doubling your gift!)

$15,000 is not a huge project. If we can each contribute something, we can have the lighting installed for our students when they come back in August.
