Anna Ruth Hauser, former registrar at Denver Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2013. She was the wife of Dr. Charles Hauser who served on the faculty at Denver and later at Central Baptist Seminary. Read the full article on the Baptist Bulletin website.
Dan Jackson ('69) serves as a full-time chaplain at the Fremont Correctional Facility in Canon City, Colorado. His wife, Sandra (Hamilton ex. '70) has begun working at an adolescent treatment center in the area. The Jacksons live in Canon City and have two married children and four grandchildren. In their communication they wrote, "We are thankful to be in the King's service."
Robert ('67) Morrison has retired from Bob Jones Press in Greenville, South Carolina. He and his wife, Joyce (also retired from Bob Jones Press), are members of Faith Baptist Church in Taylors, South Carolina, and will continue to serve there.
Harold Jewell ('76) has been called as the assistant pastor of Highland Freedom Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. We wish Harold and his wife, Judith ('76), a rich and prosperous ministry.
Bruce Thompson ('82 and '84) has accepted the pastorate of Berean Baptist Church in Pella, Iowa. Bruce and his wife, Sharon (Norris '85), have served for many years at Bethel Baptist Church in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The Thompsons have three sons: Zachary, Isaiah, and Seth (a current student at Faith). We commend the Thompsons for their years of service in Oskaloosa and trust they will have a long and fruitful ministry in Pella. You will find a photo and more information here.
Daniel Druyor ('83) has accepted the call to be the pastor of Children's Ministries at Desert Springs Community Church in Goodyear, Arizona. We wish Daniel and his wife, Angelina, a prosperous ministry there.
Susanne Clark ('80) is now serving at Somonauk Christian School in Somonauk, Illinois. She and her husband, James, live in Sheridan, Illinois. We wish Susanne and James God's blessings.
Homecoming 2014September 12 and 13
Come back to Faith for a weekend of enjoyable Homecoming activities. Two new events this year—women's alumni soccer game and sand volleyball tournament.
Make plans to attend the premier youth group event this fall. Evangelistic emphasis so teens can bring their friends.
