transfer students
In addition to sending an application for admission, a
student wishing to transfer to Faith Baptist Bible
College should request that official transcripts of credit
be sent from each post-secondary institution attended.
These transcripts must bear the original seal and
signature of the official in charge of records at those
institutions.
Students from accredited schools normally will receive
full credit for equivalent courses, providing that grades
are "C" or above and that the courses parallel
requirements outlined in the academic major as
determined by the College. The book Transfer Credit
Practices of Designated Educational Institutions will be
used as a guideline. There must be evidence of
honorable dismissal from all other schools attended.
Students from non-accredited schools will be evaluated
on the merits of the schools attended. Transfer work
from some non-accredited schools may need to be
validated either by examination or after two semesters of
satisfactory work. Students must have earned a "C" or
above in courses that may be eligible for transfer credit.
These courses must parallel the requirements outlined in
the academic major being pursued by the student.
Transfer students must complete at least 24 credit hours
in two consecutive semesters in residence at the College.
Courses taken at other institutions after the student has
enrolled may be limited, and must first be approved by
the Academic Vice President and the Registrar.
Transfer students will be exempt from taking the college
entrance and placement examinations if they have at
least a sophomore classification upon enrollment at the
College. Exemption from the English Achievement Test
will be given only if the applicant has had a regular (not
remedial) college course in English grammar with a
minimum grade of "C."
