Student Life Staff

The Student Life Department at Faith assists students in preparing for a balanced life and ministry by

• demonstrating of a godly lifestyle 

• organizing specialized discipleship ministries

• implementing Biblical counseling

• encouraging physical wellness

• supervising campus activities and leadership

• providing adequate student housing

We love every one of our students! Our desire is to get to know each of them and help them take the next steps spiritually in their lives. Our doors are always open and our phones are always on, awaiting the opportunity to meet the needs of our students in a practical and God-honoring fashion.

Staff 
Lance Augsburger

Lance joined the Student Life staff in 2008 as the Dean of Men and now also serves as the Student Body Chaplain. Lance earned an M.Div. degree from Faith Baptist Theological Seminary. He is passionate about sharing God's Word with others and loves to counsel the young men on campus. He also serves as the assistant men's soccer coach.

Sharon Gutwein

Mrs. Gutwein has been the Dean of Women since 1995. Students appreciate her encouraging smile, uplifting words, and her Scripture-focused outlook. God has prepared her in a unique way for her ministry here at Faith, and she loves serving our students.

Carrie Augsburger

Carrie joined the Student Life staff in 2011 as the administrative assistant and the Assistant Dean of Women. Carrie has an M.A. degree from Faith Baptist Theological Seminary. She loves our students and enjoys helping to meet their needs on a daily basis. She is enthusiastic about teaching our young women on campus to know and love our great God and His Word.
