Out of all of the experiences you'll have in life, there is nothing quite like the experience of living a college dormitory. Here at Faith, we're confident dorm life will be one of the greatest experiences you'll have. You will develop deep friendships, create lasting memories, learn life skills, and grow in your Christian life. Your dorm experience will be priceless!
Dormitories: Our residence halls are built with campus life in mind. The set-up provides balance with only two students per room, four students per restroom, and yet 50 students living together on the same floor. Each dormitory is equipped with college-style furniture designed for stacking and arranging in various designs.
• Taylor Hall: This two-story residencehall, built in 1999,holds 100 students and has a student/bathroom ratio of 4/1. Each floor houses 25 rooms, a lobby, a kitchen, and a laundry room. A resident advisor oversees the floor. If you want to meet as many students as possible, you will want to stay here. Students enjoy hanging out together in the lobbies on each floor.
• Brong Hall: Like Taylor Hall, this two-story residencehall, built in 1999,holds 100 students and has a student/bathroom ratio of 4/1. Each floor houses has 25 rooms, a lobby, a kitchen, and a laundry room. A resident advisor oversees the floor. If you want to meet as many students as possible, you will want to stay here. Students enjoy hanging out together in the lobbies on each floor.
Spiritual Life in the dorms: One thing you'll love about the dormitories here at Faith is the spiritual atmosphere.Think about it.You'll be living with Christians who are your age, share your passion for the Lord, and share your desire to serve Him.Dorm life at Faith is designed to encourage spiritual growth.
Resident Advisors: Each dormitory has one resident advisor and one assistant resident advisor on each floor.These students work closely with the Student Life Department and provide leadership and supervision for the dormitories.They are available for questions, concerns, and counseling as necessary.
Room Leader: ”Resident advisors choose room leaders to provide leadership ineach room.These students support the RA and encourage fellowship and accountability with the students in their apartment or suite.
Dorm Devotions: Once a week all of the students on each floor of the dorm meet together for dorm devos.The resident advisor leads this time of prayer, fellowship, and a devotional
Room Devotions: You'll love this opportunity each week to share prayer requests with other students.
Activities within the dorms: Dormitories are a place of growth and discipleship, but our students love to have fun too!They enjoy a number of dorm activities throughout the year, such as dorm ball, open dorms, brother/sister dorm activities, and "Sweet Suite" activities.
