Step-by-Step Application Process for Transfer Students

1. Application
Complete the online application (free) or mail your application for admission with a $25 fee.

2. ACT or SAT Test Scores
Provide either the ACT or SAT college entrance exam report. You may secure information regarding these college testing programs and national test dates from a high school counselor or by visiting act.org or collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/about.html. If you have successfully completed 24 credit hours or more on a postsecondary level, you are not required to take the ACT or SAT.

3. High School Transcripts
Send us a final copy of your high school transcript. If needed, click here to view a sample copy of a transcript; click here  to download a transcript template.

4. Submit Pastor/Christian Worker's Reference
Ask a nonrelative pastor, deacon, Sunday school teacher, youth sponsor, or other Christian worker to submit the reference form online or mail in the paper reference form.

5. Submit Transfer Reference
Ask a non-relative teacher from the school you are transferring from to submit the Student Transfer Reference form [link to reference form] online or mail in the paper reference form. If you have been out of school for so long that this would not apply to you, a nonrelative youth pastor, Sunday school teacher, employer, or other individual who is familiar with your educational background may fill it out.

6. College Transcripts
If you had previous college work, ask the college to send to us a copy of your official transcripts. Click here to download a Transcript Request form.

Ask each postsecondary institution you attended to send Faith the official transcripts of credits. These transcripts must bear the original seal and signature of the official in charge of records at those institutions.

Students from accredited schools normally will receive full credit for equivalent courses, (1) providing that grades are "C" or above, and (2) the courses parallel requirements outlined in the academic major at Faith. Courses from nonaccredited schools will be evaluated on the merits of the schools attended.

Send all application documents to the Admissions Department by April 1.
