Mark Davis
Director of Admissions

I head up the Admissions Department here at Faith. Since I love to meet people, and work one-on-one with high school and college students, it’s a perfect fit! After graduating from college and seminary here at Faith, I was given the opportunity to work full-time in the Admissions Department and I took it! My wife, Erin, and our three children (Hayden, Hudson, and Avlyn) love to interact with our students both here on campus and in our home as well. One of the favorite parts of my ministry here at Faith is the opportunity I have to meet teens as I speak at camps, churches, and schools and see God lead them to Faith where they grow, graduate, and then go impact the world for Christ.

I was an Admissions caller for 3 years while a student at Faith. I graduated in May of 2011 with my Elementary Education degree. I love Faith and its desire to train people in the Word, so I continued working here as the Admissions Coordinator. In December of 2011 I married my best friend from kindergarten. We recently began serving as the youth leaders at a church in the Ankeny area and are excited to see how God uses this ministry to grow us and impact the teens' lives as well. As the Admissions Coordinator for Faith, I love sharing my passion for the school, so please e-mail or call me with any questions.

I am the Admissions guy that travels the continental United States of America telling students about Faith. I graduated from a public high school in Iowa before coming to Faith. I love basketball and God used that interest as a means of making me consider coming for a few years of Bible college. But once I got here, God used Faith to mature me from a very immature freshman to a guy who is much more prepared for ministry. I graduated with a Biblical Studies degree in 2009 after spending a year in Peru on the ARRIBA! program. That was an intense year of growth for me and something that I strongly recommend for all students, whether they want to pursue a life on the mission field or not. I joined the Admissions team in July of 2010 after studying in the seminary at Faith for a year. I have traveled to 41 states for Faith to hundreds of churches and Christian schools, sharing what God is doing in Faith and how He used Faith in my life. I don't know where God may lead me in the future, but I hope that He continues to allow me to serve Him in some manner if He doesn't allow me to play in the NBA.

In May 2012 I graduated from Faith with the four-year Administrative Assistant/Women’s Ministries Degree. I worked part-time for the Admissions Department for the last 2 ½ years of college, and I desired to continue working for the school so I could have a small part in other students being impacted by Faith as I have. I wish that all students could have the opportunity to attend a Bible college and be saturated with God’s Word. It’s changed my life! God has given me a passion for people and ministry–I love what I do!

I am the Admissions caller for high school juniors. God led me to Faith in a way I can’t really explain. I had friends who went here, I knew a lot about the school, and I just knew that I needed to be here too. I needed a Bible education before I could head into full-time ministry. God has taught me so much through my time already at Faith. My years have been . . . unbelievable! I have learned so much in my years here! I was changed from who I was into a form, not a perfect form, but a form, of what God wants me to be. These years at Faith are foundational, and I know I will reap the benefits of it for the rest of my life.
God is now pushing me into full time service. I’m not quite sure where or what that is yet, but He has recently given me a desire for working with youth. Teens have so much potential to change the world, and God has put the burden on my heart to help and train them to do this.
Faith has taken me in as a part of their family and is now training me so that I can go into the world and not be afraid.

I am a junior in the four-year pastoral program, and I am one of the Admissions callers for high school seniors. I spent the summer of 2011 at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp. I am a marathon runner and ultimate Frisbee addict. I accepted Christ at the age of seven and my favorite book of the Bible is John. After I graduate, my plans include but are not limited to the following: missionary aviation, overseas travel, seminary, and possibly a triathlon. My life verse is Romans 12:1 and 2.

.I am a sophomore this year in the Pastoral Studies program. I was convinced of God's calling in my life to be a pastor during my junior year of high school on a wilderness trip to Colorado. Up until that point, I was pretty sure I was willing to do whatever God wanted me to do but also was pretty sure that His will for my life did not include pastoring. That week God used His Word to show me that I need to be willing to do WHATEVER He wants, even being a pastor. And after I took that first step of being willing, I honestly couldn't see myself doing anything but pastoring. Faith was really the only school I thought of and so far God has used this school in big ways in my life. It's neat to look back and be able to say that I am not the same person as I was 3 years ago, and I know that it is ALL because of God's working in my life and nothing I did. One of my favorite verses is Philippians 1:6

I am a sophomore here at
Faith in the Administrative Assistant/Women’s Ministries program. I am also an Admissions caller for high school seniors. I grew up in the ministry at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp. God has used living and serving at camp to give me a passion and a heart for people and ministry. I am so grateful that God has led me here to FBBC! I love learning more and more each day about the great God whom we serve, receiving solid Biblical teaching, having professors and staff that invest in my life and godly friends that sharpen me and point me to Christ!
