Director of Admissions
I head up the Admissions Department here at Faith. Since I love to meet people, and work one-on-one with high school and college students, it’s a perfect fit! After graduating from college and seminary here at Faith, I was given the opportunity to work full-time in the Admissions Department and I took it! My wife, Erin, and our three children (Hayden, Hudson, and Avlyn) love to interact with our students both here on campus and in our home as well. One of the favorite parts of my ministry here at Faith is the opportunity I have to meet teens as I speak at camps, churches, and schools and see God lead them to Faith where they grow, graduate, and then go impact the world for Christ.
I’m from Duluth, Minnesota, and as a teenager God gave me a burden to spend my life serving Him—however He would allow me to. It was that burden that brought me to Faith to study as a student, and it’s what has kept me here serving alongside our Admissions team organizing the itineraries and travel details for our Admissions representatives as well as our summer ministry teams. I absolutely love missions, traveling, and college students, and it is a highlight of my year to take a team of our students to South Africa for three weeks each summer and watch how God uses the overseas experience to mold and change their perspective on life and ministry—just as He continues to do for me. When I’m not sitting behind my desk or cuddling sweet orphans in South Africa, I love making meals with friends, doing just about anything outside, or traveling anywhere in the world.
Hey! I'm Grace Gimben from Derby, Kansas. Here at Faith I enjoy playing guitar, reading, and playing volleyball.Currently, I am a sophomore in the two-year Office Administration program. Amazingly, God allowed me to serve this past summer as a secretary at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp and work during the school year as an Admissions Assistant for Faith. This is perfect training for the major I have chosen! As a part of the Admissions team, I have the incredible opportunity to work with students. Contacting individual students and later seeing them visit events or my classes is exciting as it gives me another opportunity to invest in a life for eternity. I absolutely love the opportunities at Faith to be stretched in my service for God whether it be in the dorms, my local church, the chorale, or my classes.
I travel the continental United States of America telling students about Faith. I graduated from a public high school in Iowa before coming to Faith. I love basketball, and God used that interest as a means of making me consider coming for a few years of Bible college. But once I got here, God used Faith to mature me from a very immature freshman to a guy who is much more prepared for ministry. I graduated with a Biblical Studies degree in 2009 after spending a year in Peru on the Arriba! program. That was an intense year of growth for me and something that I strongly recommend for all students, whether they want to pursue a life on the mission field or not. I joined the Admissions team in July of 2010 after studying in the seminary at Faith for a year. I have traveled to 41 states for Faith, visiting hundreds of churches and Christian schools. I enjoy sharing what God is doing at Faith and how He used Faith in my life. I don't know where God may lead me in the future, but I hope that He continues to allow me to serve Him in some manner if He doesn't allow me to play in the NBA.
Hello! My name is Rose, and I’m from the state of Maine. I love the ocean, and I enjoy organizing things and spending time with friends. After I graduated from high school in 2013, I spent one year at a little Bible Institute in Canada, but I felt that God was leading me elsewhere to continue my education. He used people and circumstances to show me that Faith was for me, and I transferred to Faith in 2014 to pursue a degree in Elementary Education as well as take classes in Biblical Counseling. I joined the Admissions staff as a student representative in the fall of 2015. I love Faith, and I am so thankful that God brought me here. I want others to be blessed by this school the way that I have been blessed, and I desire for God to use me to encourage others to come to Faith and grow to be more like Christ while training to serve Him.
I am from a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I was home-schooled all the way through high school and began my freshman year at Faith in the fall of 2015. I am currently in the Elementary Education program in order to pursue my dream of becoming an elementary teacher. Children never cease to make me smile, and teaching has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Working in Admissions is so neat because I get to see a little bit of the "behind the scenes" here at Faith. I am excited to see how God is going to use the people on the Admissions team as well as the students here for His glory over the coming years.
I was born and raised in the wonderful state of Utah where my family has been serving the Lord for a number of years. I trusted Jesus as my Savior at a young age. Growing up quite involved in ministry at my local church, the Lord began to produce within me a passion for proclaiming Christ to the lost and discipling those who already know Him. Prior to my teen years, I began to sense God's call for me to be in full-time ministry. I believe God's will for my life is to become a missionary pastor of some sort, whether in the states or abroad. That is how the Lord brought me to Faith. Currently, I am a sophomore in the Pastoral program at Faith with a double minor in Greek and Biblical Counseling. In this process of training for ministry, I am now privileged to be a part of the Faith Admissions Team as a student representative.
