High School Jump Start Courses


We are excited to offer online Jump Start courses for high school students with an option for dual credit.

High School Students
Begin earning college credit while still in high school! With Faith Online Learning you can complete 18 college credits between our online Jump Start courses and our summer Jump Start program—that’s the equivalent of one semester. You can begin taking on-campus Jump Start classes the summer following your sophomore year. You can begin taking online Jump Start courses the fall semester of your junior year. Here is the suggested schedule to complete all 18 credits before enrolling as a full-time student at Faith for college.

 Summer before Senior Year      Second Jump Start course       2 credits
 During your Senior Year      Two online courses (fall and spring)       6 credits
 Summer after you Graduate      Third Jump Start course       2 credits

Dual Credit Option
High school juniors and seniors who are homeschooled or in Christian schools have the option of taking the online Jump Start courses for college credit and, if their parent or Christian school chooses, for their high school Bible classes as well. Registration Process

  • Complete the Jump Start Registration form here!
  • Send in two completed reference forms (cannot be completed by relatives)
    • Pastor/Christian Worker Form 
    • High School Educator 

If you are home schooled, have a supervising teacher complete the reference form.

Our Admissions staff will advise you on the steps you need to take to enroll.

Tuition: $99 per credit hour

Please pay by check,  phone, or online within the first week of classes.  If the course is not paid for within two weeks of classes starting, the student will not be able to continue taking the class.

At this time, online courses at Faith are not eligible for financial aid or scholarships.

Q: Can I take these classes through PSEO?
A: No. Most public schools will not approve Bible classes for PSEO.

Q: When can I start taking online classes as a high school student?
A: You can begin taking online classes in the fall semester of your junior year. You can begin taking Jump Start summer courses the summer before your junior year.

Q: When should I register?
A: You can complete a registration up to a year before the class begins. Registration must be complete two weeks prior to the start of the class.

Q: Do I need to complete a new registrationfor every class?
A: No. Once you have registered for an online course, you can continue enrolling in the next class without reregistering. If you take a class and then sit out for a year without taking another class, you will need to reregister.

Q: What do I do once I am enrolled?
A: Once you become an online student, you will receive login information from Faith. You will then be required to take a short online orientation before your first class.

Scholarship Weekend

March 17–19

High School seniors: spend a weekend at Faith interviewing for scholarships.

Student Leadership Summit

April 14–16
