Prepare to Make
a Difference

 I had the opportunity to lead music for the morning sessions of the Global Reach Conference. It was a challenge, as I hadn’t realized how much preparation goes into leading music for multiple days—coordinating songs and rehearsal times with all the musicians, and working with the tech crew to ensure all the lyric slides were ready. I appreciated Dr. Trainer giving me this opportunity. It helped me grow in patience and communication as I navigated logistics and everyone’s varying schedules.

I was also invited to serve on the new student section and home game committee, AREA 31. It’s been fun to help plan home games and work as a team to create a fun, God-honoring sports atmosphere.

I got to play college volleyball this year which was such a fun opportunity. I grew spiritually with my teammates and felt so supported by my school. I also played intramural volleyball which is so fun for fellowship at our school!

I was able to serve as a student leader by being a deepen group leader and the vice president of GRC [Global Reach Conference]. I also am blessed to be leading a high school guys’ Bible study at my church. God has used these opportunities in my life to challenge me, expose my weaknesses, and highlight the grace of God. These things have helped me rely on God’s daily provision as I realize my own insufficiencies.
